Domestic Violence Programs
We define what conflict resolution is and how to identify the triggers that produce these uncontrollable actions leading to domestic violence.
Types of domestic violence can be: physical, verbal, emotional, psychological, sexual, economic, and spiritual abuse.
The domestic violence class offers an open forum into alternative ways on how to resolve issues in a way to facilitate a peaceful end without seeking retribution. We also address how to communicate feelings, hurts, and disappointments of the heart without developing a recipe for conflict.
What We Hope to Accomplish
Helping the victim figure out the root cause of the abuser’s violent triggers such as: anger, jealousy, and insufficiency.
Helping the abuser recognize the consequences physical abuse has on the victim.
Learning skills needed to help curb violent behavior and stop recurrent domestic violent offenses.
